The machine is placed between the hood and the discharge. Inside are the fan, the inverter and the control panel, already assembled.

The air flow decides the model
ARTURO CP-15 covers air flows up to 1,500 m³/h, with an operating range from 1,200 to 1,500 m³/h. For air flows up to 3,000 m³/h there is ARTURO CP-30. The final check must be made on the actual system.

Installation, use and maintenance manual
One manual for ARTURO CP-15 and ARTURO CP-30: safety, installation, commissioning, maintenance, washing of the cell and pre-filters with the detergents, troubleshooting, spare parts and disposal.
The problem
Smoke, grease aerosol and odorous compounds
Cooking vapours carry greasy particulate and odorous compounds. If they are not treated, they settle in the ducts and reach the discharge.
Grease settles on the inner surfaces of the extraction system.
Untreated particulate reaches the fan and fouls it.
The remaining odorous fraction can be smelled outside.
How it works
Three treatment stages and a fan
The air passes through the pre-filters, the electrostatic plasma cell and the activated carbon filter. The fan pushes it towards the discharge.
They hold back the coarser grease
High-density glass wool filters with electrostatic effect. They must always be fitted: without pre-filters the carbon saturates early.
It charges and collects the particles
The 150 W cell holds grease and smoke on its plates. The oxidising action of cold plasma also works on odours and volatile organic compounds.
It reduces residual odours
Activated carbon filter 592 × 287 × 292 mm, downstream of the cell. It works on air from which the grease has already been removed.
Extraction
Fan and inverter are on board
The air flow is set with the inverter during commissioning, according to the pressure drops of the actual system.
The fan is an EYNGL750 high-temperature centrifugal fan, 0.75 kW, 1,810 m³/h at 790 Pa, three-phase 230/380 V motor.

Installation
Between the hood and the discharge, with access for maintenance
It is installed indoors, or outdoors with a suitable cover that is not included in the supply.
- Vertical installation, with body inclination below 2°.
- Inspection space of more than 0.8 m on the side of the filter access door.
- Brackets and supports for 85 kg, with a 50% margin.
- Air velocity in the duct as low as possible, preferably below 19 m/s.
Anti-vibration joint between fan and machine. Flanges sealed with butyl tape or neutral silicone: every leak is a filter bypass.

Outside these limits performance drops and the machine can be damaged.
